Christabella doubled in pain. She's going into labour. She woke Zephyr up and he stirred. "Hmm?"

"I... I think..."

"Huh?" Zephyr asked sleepily.

"The baby... NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Christabella screamed in pain.

Zephyr was wide awake now.

His parents came into the room and was shocked to see that Christabella was going into labour...

They quickly carried her to the car and rushed her to the hospital.

After hours of anxious waiting... Christabella gave birth to a baby boy...

------------------------------------------------
A few years later...

"Mommy! Mommy!"

"Yes, dear?" Christabella answered.

"I am 3 years old right?" John asked.

Christabella laughed, "No, you're 4!" she stretched 4 fingers.

"How long is four years?" John asked.

"Very long..." Christabella nodded.

The front door opened. "Look who's here, John!" Zephyr said.

"Daddy! Granny! Grandpa!" John squealed in delight and ran to the front door and greeted them.

"Oh, look at you dear. Still as cute as ever!" Mrs Jonathan, the senior one, said. Happily hugging him.

Zephyr gave Christabella a quick kiss.

"Eww! Daddy and mommy kissing!" John said, covering his eyes.

Everyone laughed.

-----------------------------------------------
They talked for the whole day. It's Christmas. It's not everyday they get to sit down and talk since after Christabella and Zephyr moved out.

Mr and Mrs Mitchell joined them for dinner.

"Grandma, grandpa, why are you always going for holidays?" John asked.

They both laughed, "We'll bring you wth us next time!" Mrs Mitchell said.

"Okay!" John clapped enthusiastically.

The doorbell rang.

Christabella answered the door. It was Chrysantha.

"You're late!" Christabella whispered.

"You're late Chrysantha ma!!" John said! "Where's Kelvin pa??"

"Oh! He's taking a gift from the car. It's specially for you! Oh you're so cute!" Chrysantha pinched John's cheek lightly.

Then they settled at the dining table, waiting for Kelvin.

"I have news!" Chrysantha announced.

Kelvin came in, empty handed and sat beside Chrysantha.

"So what's the news?" Christabella asked, excited.

"Where's my prezzie???" John asked.

"That can wait, dear..." Christabella said, touching John's head lightly.

Chrysantha looked up into Kelvin's eyes and smiled, "We're getting married..."

"FINALLY! After two 5 years!" Christabella said happily.

"Yay!" John clapped his hands.

"Do you know what's happening, little boy?" Mrs Jonathan, the senior one, asked.

John shook his head. Everyone laughed. Then he laughed along.

They had dinner and John got his gift. He opened his Christmas gift.

"Wow! It's a puppy!" John exclaimed and clapped his hands and laughed.

The puppy yelp and chased his tail.

"He's funny!" John said. Laughing his cute laugh.

"He sure is!" Christabella patted John's head, smiling at Zephyr who smiled back at his beloved wife...

"It's graduation day!" Christabella told Chrysantha for the 4th time today.

"Yeah, I know..." Chrysantha said, nodding. Still not taking the hint.

Christabella stared at Chrysantha and cocked her brow. Chrysantha nodded back in confusion.

"What?" Chrysantha finally asked.

"You said you wanted to tell me something," Christabella said.

"Oh! Wait... You'll know! Be patient!" Chrysantha grinned.

"Come on! I'm not the patient kind, you know that!"

Kelvin walked towards them, but he wasn't looking at Christabella, he was...

He put his arms around Chrysantha's waist and gave a quick kiss. He turned to Christabella.

"Hey, Christie..."

Christabella's jaw dropped, "Since when???"
"Since last three weeks..." Chrysantha said with a smile.

"And you didn't even tell me!?!" Christabella said disbelievingly. "How nice of a friend you are!" she said, pretending to throw a tantrum.

Chrysantha giggled. "Okay! I don't want to disturb the lovebirds! Bye!" Christabella said.

"Aloha!" Christabella greeted when she saw Zephyr.

"Yo!" Zephyr's friend, Zebra, said. Zephyr just nodded and went back to talking about sports.

"Boring!" Christabella thought. But she stayed anyway.

Chrysantha skipped over to them and said, "Let's take a picture together!"

"Okay! Awh man! Come Zephyr!" Christabella said.

"Alright... sigh!" Zephyr said boredly.

Then, Christabella suddenly felt sick.

"Are you okay?" Zephyr asked with concern.

"I think so..." Christabella said. But she felt really sick this time, "Maybe not..." she ran to the nearest drain and threw up her breakfast. Zephyr, Chrysantha and Kelvin ran to her.

"Oh my God! You're throwing up your whole breakfast! Was it that bad?" Zephyr said, patting her back.

"I don't know..." Christabella said.

"Wait..." Zephyr stepped back. "You..."

"What?"

"You're not..."

"What???!!!"

"What what?" Zephyr asked.

"What are you both what-ing about?" Chrysantha asked.

Zephyr shot Christabella a look.

Chrysantha's hand went to her mouth, "Oh my GOD! You both did IT already??? And you didn't tell me!" Chrysantha punched Christabella lightly.

"Well..." Christabella tried to explained, but her sick came up again.

Kelvin and Chrysantha looked at Zephyr. Zephyr shrugged.

-------------------------------------------------
"Congratulations! It's official! You're going to become a mother, Mrs Jonathan!" the doctor confirmed.

"Oh my God! I can't believe I'm becoming a... a father!" Zephyr exclaimed.

"I can't too..." Christabella said, and instinctively, her hands went to her belly. "I'm feeling weird..."

"First time?" the doctor asked.

"Yeah..." Zephyr replied.

"Yeah, you both look young. But you'd get used to this weird feeling..." the doctor assured.

"There's something alive in me..." Christabella talked to herself.

Zephyr touched her belly and smiled. It's time to tell their parents.

Zephyr sat at the dining table next morning. Christabella came later and sat opposite him at her usual place.

Zephyr smiled at her. Christabella just look down. Things are going to be different now...
---------------------------------------------------------
It's another day at school...

"Christabella..." Kelvin said.

"Kelvin!" Christabella said.

"I... well, it's you. I mean. I understand what you said the other day..." Kelvin said.

"Oh, that's great. That's great! I'm glad for you!" Christabella said, relieved.

"It is!" Kelvin said.
---------------------------------------------
Two years later...

Christabella came out of the bathroom. She smiled and walked over to the bed and sat down. She smiled.

Andrew looked up at smiled at her. Evelyn crawled to beside Zephyr. She looked at him and he looked back.

"I... just wanna ask about... *clears throat* erm... two years ago..." Christabella started.

"What?"

"You... me..."

"I kissed you. SO?"

"Did you mean it?" Christabella asked.

"No..."

"Oh..." she said disappointedly.

"I don't like you... I love you... Christabella..." Zephyr said...

Christabella looked up and into his eyes.

"I like your eyes since day one. It's so... beautiful..." Zephyr said.

"Really?" Christabella asked.

"Really..." Zephyr said. Leaning in closer to her... and kissed her, again.

-----------------------------------------
Dear Stupid Life,

I can't help it but tell you. I've had a wonderful night. Guess what? We did IT. You know, IT? We did the THING. I don't wanna go into details... Cause I know Chrysantha will be stucking her nosy nose in here!

P.S. Yeah! I mean YOU Chrysantha! Close the diary now!

Feeling : Really high.
Taste : Salty. His mouth tasted like peppermint.
Reaction : UNPREDICTABLE!

HE LOVES ME!!!!!! HE LOVES ME!!!!!!!!! HE LOVES ME!!!!!!!!

After that, he told me, he'll love me forever. Romantic... but I don't believe him.

Graduation in 3 weeks and counting! Can't wait!

Gotta go! He's back!

I LOVE HIM!!! I LOVE HIM!!! I LOVE HIM!! I KNOW I'M CRAZY! I'm LOVESICK!
--------------------------------------------------------
After that, they went to the lake.

Laid down on the grass side by side and watched the birds overhead and sunset. They walked back hand in hand. The moon was smiling on them.

They went back for dinner. Then hung out in the room and slept in each other's embrace with a smile on their lips.
--------------------------------------------------------
Next morning...

"Christabella! ZEPHYR!!!!" Chrysantha called out.

"Hey!" they both greeted.

"I've got a surprise for you! I'll tell you on graduation day!" Chrysantha whispered.

"Why not now?" Christabella asked curiously.

"Zip!" Chrysantha said with her hand shaped like she's zipping a zip. "It's secret till then!" she whispered.

"Okay!" Christabella shrugged. Zephyr cleared his throat. Understanding that the two of them wants to be alone, Chrysantha said, "Catch you later! Bye!"

"Bye!"

"She's still acting like a kid..." Zephyr said boredly.

"Yeah. Cute!" Christabella said.

"Uh huh..." Zephyr said. "You're better..."

Christabella smiled.

Zephyr was listening to music and reading on the bed when Christabella walked into the bedroom.

"Hey..." Christabella greeted, putting all her stuff on the floor nearby.

Silence.

"Hey!" Christabella said a bit louder this time.

Silence again.

Christbella said louder, "I SAID HEY!!!"

Zephyr said without looking up, "I heard you idiot!"

Christabella said angrily, "I'm not an idiot! You're just too dumb to hear me."

"Really?"

"You're starting it again!" Christabella snapped.

"Hmm, I did? I don't remember..." Zephyr replied, still not looking up.

"Well, I do!"

"Oh really?" Zephyr said coolly. Flipping over the pages.

"Urgh! I'd die talking to you! I can't believe I had to marry you!" Christabella said frustrated.

"I don't see you dead yet," Zephyr said.

"It was just a saying..." Christabella said. Zephyr cleared his throat. Christabella turned around and headed to the bathroom. "Idiot!" she muttered under her breath.

----------------------------------------------
After bathing, Christabella went back to the bedroom. Zephyr was still reading. Feeling better after a long bath, Christabella didn't want to spoil her mood by picking up another fight. She went to the bedand sat down. She looked at Zephyr.

Zephyr looked up, then back to his book. Christabella shifted nearer to him. Zephyr felt uncomfortable and looked up again, then back again to his book. Christabella cleared her throat.

"What in the hell do you want?" Zephyr snapped.

"I just... wanna ask... about... about... us..."

Zephy sighed and took off his earphones. "What?"

"We're married."

"I know. SO?"

"Right, that's all..."

"That's it? You disturbed me just to tell me a thing I already know?" Zephyr asked curiously.

"Yes... yeah..." Christabella said slowly.

Zephyr rolled his eyes and went back to his book.

"Get off the book, nerd!" Christabella grabbed it away from him.

"GIVE IT BACK! GIVE IT BACK!! I SAID GIVE IT BACK!" Zephyr tried to reach for his book.

"NO!!! I'm not giving it back!" Christabella said trying to hold the bookout of his reach.

Zephyr pushed her and got his book back. Zephyr was on top of her. Christabella was struggling to get away. More like struggling to breathe. He was heavy.

Then Zephyr looked at Christabella and she looked back. Before they knew it, they were kissng each other. But as sudden as it started, Christabella turned away.

"No... this is not right. You don't like me," Christabella shook her head and touched her lips. She walked out of the room. Leaving Zephyr sitting there alone, still shocked with what they did.

Zephyr thought for a moment, "Who said I don't like you?"

-------------------------------------------
Oh my God! What happened? Forget it! Nothing happened! No! SOMETHING HAPPENED. No wait! Why am I having a war with myself!?!?
Christabella thought.

She stayed in the bathroom until she saw the lights in their bedroom turned off. Then she went back and laid on the bed. After awhile, she changed her mind. She walked to the sofa bed opposite the bed and laid down.

After awhile, "Christabella?"

Zephyr sat up in the bed. Then stood up and walked over to the sofa bed. He opened the cabinet beside the sofa bed, took out a blanket and covered Christabella with it.

He looked at her, then kissed her quickly on the cheeks and went back to sleep, smiling.

After school...

"Christabella?" Zephyr asked.

"Yes?" Christabella answered, turning to Zephyr.

"You know that new guy in school?" Zephyr asked carefully.

Christabella suddenly tensed up and nodded and asked, "Why?"

"Is he... good looking? You like him?" Zephyr asked.

"Why are you asking?"

"Oh... nothing just wondering..." Zephyr said.

"Oh... no. I don't like him... not that way..." Christabella said.

"Oh..." Zephyr said, feeling really relieved.

"You jealous?" Christabella asked curiously.

"No! Not at all! Just asking. Heard a lot of girls are attracted to him... you know?" Zephyr said quickly.

Christabella shrugged, "Oh well, he's quite charming actually."

"Huh? So you like him?" Zephyr asked, jealousy and confusion bleeding into his brains and heart.

"Nah, he's not my type," Christabella said, "Why?"

"Oh!" Zephyr said. "Nothing..."

But deep inside, Christabella knows that Zephyr was worried now that his competitor has come and he has to be extra careful and watch his back.

----------------------------------------------
"This is so not cool!" Chrysantha whined.

"Okay, this is twenty third time you're saying that today. Knock it off!" Christabella sighed.

"But really, it's not cool!"

"Twenty- fourth"

"Stop it!"

"You stop it!"

"Fine then! Be that way!" Chrysantha snapped.

"Oh yes, I will..." Christabella snapped back. "Come on, what's so not cool about that?"

Chrysantha turned and said, "The fact that you and Zephyr are married and here comes walking in Kelvin, who flirts with you and it's so obvious he's in it for you."

"Uh huh..."

"You get two guys. Me? Nada!"

"Actually, you have that... whatshisname?"

"Jacky. The nerdy, weirdo Jack from "The Book Club" which is so boring..." Chrysantha said.

"Breathe." Christabella said.

"Okay, and he's following me around! And it's freakin' creepy! Look!" Chrysantha said, pointing at a guy whose hair was out of place and has a lopsided grin and freckles sprinkled all overhis face. He waved at Chrysantha. Chrysantha turned back, "See what I mean???"

"Yeah, he's creepy alright!" Christabella agreed.

"Is that all you can say?" Chrysantha asked with a frown.

"Err... avoid him?" Christabella suggested.

"Argh! I AM AVOIDING HIM!" Chrysantha said angrily.

"Then you're not avoiding him enough," Christabella said distractedly.

"Urgh! Forget it! It's just so not cool!" Chrysantha concluded.

"Twenty-five."

"You're not cool too!" Chrysantha said and stalked off.

"I am?" Christaella said, "OH! That counts too! That makes twenty six!" Christabella called. But Chrysantha was already lost in the crowds.

"What? So you told Kelvin EVERYTHING?" Chrysantha said. Oh look! Her eyes are bulging out of their sockets.

"Yeah..." Christabella said coolly.

"OMIGOSH! That's really bad. I can feel it..." Chrysantha said with her eyes closed and her hands circling an imaginary crystal ball.

Christabella rolled her eyes, "Feel what?"

Chrysantha opened her eyes and put on her serious look. Then she rested her hand on Christabella's shoulder, "It's gonna get complicated." Chrysantha let out a sigh and said, "He likes you... but you're MARRIED!"

"I know! You don't have to keep reminding me on that!"

Just then, Kelvin passed by and said "Hi" to Christabella.

"You see? That just proved it! You gotta explain to Kelvin!!!" Chrysantha said.

"Maybe he was just trying to be friendly?" Christabella suggested.

"Oh yeah! By slipping you his number? It's not that simple! Like, hello??? If you both are seen together, the whole school will tear down. Okay, maybe not literally, but... oh you know what I mean! The girls will hate you, not that they don't. But they will hate you MORE! And Zephy will treat you worse than ever, ever! You've already got the hottest guy in school! You can just... just get another hottest guy in school... second... hottest guy..." Chrysantha said manically.

"I already told him I was married," Christabella pointed out.

"Tell him again!" Chrysantha said.

"Okay fine!"

---------------------------------------------
During recess, Christabella went up to Kelvin and said, "Hi... we've... got to talk..."

"Okay, sure!" Kelvin said with a shrug and a grin.

"Let's go to a quieter place..." Christabella suggested/

"Okay, where?"

"How about the library?"

"Okay!" Kelvin agreed happily.

-----------------------------------------------
"Okay, where are we supposed to sit?" Kelvin asked quietly.

"Err... there!" Christabella said. It doesn't matter anyway. The library is always empty.

"So... I'm married," she said.

"You told me that yesterday," Kelvin said.

"I just want to be friends," she explained.

"Okay, we'll start off as friends," Kelvin said

"What do you mean 'start off'? We'll just be friends and we'll stay friends forever. Nothing is going to change. Nothing is supposed to change! Nothing more!" Christabella explained.

For awhile, there was just silence. Then slowly Kelvin nodded. Then said, "Why not?" sounding a bit hurt.

"Because I'm married," she said. Her shoulders slumped.

Kelvin laughed, "So because of that you, I mea, WE cannot be more than just friends?"

The librarian cleared her throat.

"Yeah, I'm supposed to be somebody's wife! Not supposed to be seeing anyone else! That will be an affair. We're not supposed to be here together in the first place!"

She started to gather her things and was ready to leave when she felt someone tug at her hands.

"Christabella, please reconsider it, wasting and sacrificing your happiness and yourself to a guy who don't love you is stupid. It's just ridiculous!" Kelvin said.

Christabella pulled her hand away, "I'm sorry, but I only like him... I love him. And I know, I believe, I'm not doing anything stupid... he loves me too!"

She didn't know that Zephyr was at the other side of the shelves and he's heard every single word of their conversation. He smiled to himself. He won.

Christabella left the library. Kelvin sat there, not believing that he'd been rejected or what had just happened. He was determined to get her, no matter what.

Zephyr picked up a few books and casually walked to the counter to check them out. He glanced side way at Kelvin. He felt a satisfaction. He took the books and walked out of the library.

"Oh my God! Christabella! Have you see him??? He's like sizzling! He's hot! And I heard he's rich!" that was the first greeting Christabella got from Chrysantha the next morning.

Judging from Chrysantha's breathless words, Christabella can practically see the guy was no ordinary guy. Seriously, Chrysantha acts like that whenever she sees hot guys.

"Who him?" Christabella asked, pretending to be stupid.

"HIM!!!!" Chrysantha squealed.

"WHO!?!?!" Christabella is getting impatient, she hates it when Chrysantha squeals because it gives her goosebumps.

"HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chrysantha clapped her hands enthusiastically.

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOO?????????" now Christabella is really annoyed.

"KELVIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What Kelvin? Who's Kelvin???

"KELVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN KIRKLAAAAAAAAAAAANDS!!!!!!!!!!" Chrysantha squealed more.

"Chrysantha! Stop it!" Christabella said.

"Stop what?"

"Squealing! You know how it makes me feel..." Christabella said.

"Okay," Chrysantha said, cooling down.

"Who's Kelvin Curtlands?" Christabella asked.

"KIRKlands," Chrysantha corrected.

"Isn't that some kind of place?"

"No..." Chrysantha frowned. "It's a hot guy, and he's really smart. He's the President of some really important club in his previous school. And he's like super rich! Did you see his car? And his shoes??? Like OMG!" Chrysantha is hyperventilating.

"He sounds too perfect... is he someone from you dream?" Christabella asked. Then she added, "Again."

"No! He's the new guy in school! And I heard he's in the same class as me. TWO OF THEM!!! And five of your classes and ALL of CATHERINE'S! That's disastrous! I know Catherine will go all over him! And then my dreams will come crashing down. Because I'm sure they'd be making out in the storeroom!" Chrysantha said frantically.

"Chrysantha, cool down. Breathe..." Christabella said.

"Okay..." Chrysantha inhaled. "I'm fine!" Inhale. "I'm okay!" Inhale.

"I think I see him," Christabella said, looking at someone behind Chrysantha.

"Erm... I think you dropped something..." a guy with hazel nut colour eyes.

"Oh! Thank you..." Christabella said, taking her bracelet from his hand.

"Welcome... see you around!" says Mr Hottie.

"Yeah!"

And he walks away with grace.

"Omigod! Omigod! He just talked to you! HE TALKED TO YOU!" there Chrysantha go again.

"Yea... so?"

"But he's mine! You're taken!" Chrysantha said.

"Oh yeah! Like he cares?" Christabella challenged.

"Hey! That's not fair! You can't have two things at the same time. Especially not guys!!" Chrysantha whined.

"Okay! Okay... I was just joking alright? He's yours. ALLLL yours," Christabella laughed.

In fact, Christabella can only wish Kelvin will look her way. Even though she's got a husband. But who cares? Not him!
"Back to Earth Chrysantha! Let's go!"

"Okay..." Chrysantha said dreamily.

They walked off to their next class. Music class.

----------------------------------------------

"Oh hey! It's you again!" a familiar voice said.

"Oh! Hey! You like music..." Christabella said. She regretted saying that. Now she sounds so stupid. Of course he likes music. Why then would he be here???

He nodded. "You?"

Oh haha! Now he sounds as stupid as me! Christabella thought.

"Yea... what do you play?" Christabella asked.

"The guitar... you?"

"The piano..."

"I play the guitar too!" Chrysantha cut in.

"Oh! Yea? That's nice..." he said.

"What's you name?" he asked Christabella.

"Christabella Mitchell... no... I mean... Christabella Jonathan..." she said, realising she's married to Zephyr.

"Oh... I'm Kelvin... Kelvin Kirklands... " he introduced.

"Chrysantha!" Chrysantha self-introduced. A bit... too enthusiastically.

"Oh! Err... nice to meet you both," Kelvin said, unsure of himself.

Then the music teacher came in.

"Good morning!" she chirped.

"Good morning Miss Sally," the class greeted in unison.

"Okay! First things first. We're going to play a piece. A duo, in fact. For the charity show. So... oh yeah! There's a new student in the class! He's Kelvin Kirklands..." Miss Sally said.

Kelvin stood up and bowed slightly to the class.

All the girls started whispering and giggling. He sat down.

"Thank you, Mr Kirklands. Quiet please! Okay, I'm going to pair you all up..." then Miss Sally began to call names off her list in pairs.

Chrysantha was hoping so hard she'd be with Kelvin.

But Christabella got Kelvin instead. Chrysantha stared at Christabella and mouthed ' I trust you!! '. Christabella mouthed back 'ok'. But inside, she's feeling giddy. Everyone started whispering and sneering at her. But Kelvin didn't notice anything. Or try not to.

Kelvin is good.

---------------------------------------------------

After the class, Kelvin dropped a note into Christabella's bag. When Christabella reached home and started unpacking her bag, she found a piece of paper with some numbers scribbled on it. Below it was a name... Kelvin.

The note said 'This is my number and well, I hope you'd call so we can hang out or something.'

This guy is daring...

"What are you doing?" Zephyr asked.

"Huh? Nothing! Just... unpacking... my bag..." Christabella replied, quickly stuffing the note in her drawer.

"Okay... I'll go shower first..."

"Yea... you go first..."

"Of course I should go first!" Zephyr said.

Obnoxious! Christabella thought.

Zephy went into the bathroom. Christabella went back to her thoughts. Should I tell Kelvin that I'm married?

"So how's the weekend?" Chrysantha asked Christabella the first thing in the morning on Monday.

"As usual.." Christabella said, blushing a little at the thought of Zephyr and her snuggling up close in bed.

" That didn't sound convincing enough. I'm not buying it. Now tell me the details. Boring or not! Spit it out, girl!" Chrysantha said, fake threatening.

"Okay, okay! Fine! Stop with that threatening face of yours!" Christabella said with a laugh!

So, Christabella told Chrysantha everything. Suddenly, Chrysantha's eyebrows cocked, she said, "Oh! Look who's here?"

When Christabella looked up, the person she saw was no other than Catherine, the school's Queen Bee a.k.a the Meanest Girl on Planet Earth.

"Oh! Look! It's Mrs Jonanthan de JUNIOR..." Catherine teased meanly, emphasizing on the word 'junior'.

"Go rinse your mouth, Catherine! Your breath stinks of evilness and meanness..." Chrysantha snapped. Then she fake gagging and pulled Christabella and walked off.

"Who says you can go?" Catherine asked angrily.

"Who says we can't?" Chrysantha said through her gritted teeth.

"Well, nobody... but ME!" Catherine said, proudly.

Catherine's IQ is about... zero? No wait, negative 100, that's what.

"Hey! Look! Stop being such a loser! You don't even know how to spell 'sufficient'!" Chrysantha said, suddenly bringing up what happened last week in English class. "Hey! Everyone! Catherine can't spell 'sufficient' in English class last week! She asked me how to!" Chrysantha said loudly.

Embarrassed, Catherine's face flushed deep red. She shot Chrysantha a killing stare and stormed off with her 'pet dogs' trailing behind her.

Christabella mouthed a 'thanks' to Chrysantha. Chrysantha shrugged. The bell rang and they went to class together.

------------------------------------------------

It's lunch, but Christabella and Zephyr was sitting at different ends of the cafeteria.

"Why is he sitting ALLLLLLLLLLL the way over there? I think I need a binoculars..." Chrysantha said exaggeratingly, as she squinted and puts her hands above her brows to show how far Zephyr was from them.

"Do you sit THAT far during dinner? Where is the warmth? I didn't know there was dining table THAT long. I mean, yeah, the Jonathan's are like, super rich. I didn't know you can make customised LOOOOOOONG dining tables. And what for anyway? Unless, you are planning to have about, the whole school's population of kids with him..." Chrysantha said dramatically.

"No...not that far..." Christabella only answered Chrysantha's first question.

"Then why aren't you sitting together???" Chrysantha asked again. There was a silence.

"Oh my God! Don't tell me, you don't even have dinner together???" Chrysantha puts her hand to her mouth.

Christabella frowned, "He's got his own friends, alright."

"Well, what's his is yours now... What's yours is.... still yours, of course!" Chrysantha joked. Then, she added, "You've been talking lesser nowadays..."

"And you've been talking more than usual nowadays..." Christabella replied.

"Oh, is that bad?" Chrysantha asked curiously.

"I didn't say that. You say that yourself... But well, actually, what I was trying to say is that... this... this marriage thing... it doesn't work that way... it's just... Gawd! It changed everything!" Christabella sighed.

"Like... for example?" Chrysantha asked, with her brows cocked and shaking her head.

"We sleep in the same room. We share most of our stuff, which, by the way, I never did before, including with you. We eat dinner at the same table and all... yet, it's like... we're like... nobody, you know? In the school... we're like... strangers!" Christabella explained.

"That's ridiculous!"

"Yeah... I know, right?" Christabella said, as she sighed again.

"Hey losers! So, Mrs Jonathan de Junior, why aren't you sitting with your husband huh?" a mean, familiar voice asked. It was Catherine, trying to provoke them.

"Get off her back you this... this... I can't get any word to describe you, but still... you this... filthy bi*ch!" Chrysantha snapped.

Catherine gasped and her jaws dropped like the 'screw' just got loose suddenly. She turned around and stormed off again. Like a child having a tantrum. Once again, her followers followed obediently. With their identical hair flicking and butts swinging awkwardly like that of Catherine's.

"Urgh! Don't they have a personality? It's so fake! Immitating her, of all people!!! Don't they ever get tired of her?" Chrysantha said frustratingly.

"Obviously, not," Christabella said boredly.

"What do they SEE in THAT girl?" Chrysantha asked.

"Her prettiness?" Christabella offered lamely.

"Her what?!?! I didn't know she was pretty, she's not even ugly! Noo... she's WORSE than that. Much worse... she's... uglier than the ugliest... Wait till she taste betrayal! Hah! In her face, loser!" Chrysantha blabbered on, as she slapped her "L" shaped fingers to her forehead.

But Christabella wasn't paying attention to what Chrysantha had to say. Instead, she was looking at Zephyr and wondering to herself, "Why aren't we sitting together?"

"Hello? You there?" Chrysantha snapped her fingers in front of Christabella's face.

"Umm, yeah! Listening..."

"Urgh! No, you weren't! Never mind!" Chrysantha said angrily and stormed out of the cafeteria.

Christabella sighed as she stood up and took a last look at Zephyr and walked out of the cafeteria too.

They didn't sleep like the first night. In fact, Zephyr said he's sleeping on the couch. Christabella was a bit disappointed. During lunch, she asked him about yesterday night. He claimed that he was drunk. When she asked about what he said, he looked (maybe it was pretended to be) confused and asked, "Did I say something?"

"Never mind..." Christabella said, trying to change the topic.

"Okay..." Zephyr mumbled.

"Um... can I..." Christabella asked with a gesture saying that she wants to concentrate on her lunch.

"Oh. Right," Zephy said, but continued staring at her.

After a moment of silence, Christabella couldn't stand the fact that a pair of eyes was staring at her eating her food. She said, "What? Don't stare! It's rude! Haven't mommy taught you that?"

"Nothing..." he said, looking away.

After lunch, they spent the rest of the weekend together. Snuggling in their bed watching movies after movies. A movie marathon.

When evening came by, Zephyr's eyes began to feel heavy. He slept off. Christabella turned to him, wanting to ask him a question. But he was sleeping already. Oh gawd... he's sleeping... He looks so... so... Suddenly, she feels the urge to kiss him. She found herself leaning forward to kiss him...

No! I can't do this! This is absurd! I'm a girl! I CANNOT do this! She pulled herself away.

"Mmm..." Zephyr stirred in his sleep, then turned over.

Phew! No more temptation.

"Christabella... I..." he turned back and rested his arms on her. She was taken by surprise. She couldn't sit up. She couldn't move. She didn't want to wake him up either. So she laid there and let her eyes wander around her new room. She laid her eyes on the tv's remote control. She reached out and turned off the tv. After a few minutes, she drifted off too, enveloped in Zephyr's arms. Just like yesterday...

----------------------------------------------------
After a few hours, they woke up for late dinner.

Maybe, after what happened yesterday and today will change the boring dinner routine...

Or maybe not.

Dinner was just as boring as sitting in front of a blank wall, listening and drooling, to teacher's lecture about history, history and history.

As usual, Zephyr was looking at his plate and playing with his food. How old is he? Still playing with his food! Hmph! Christabella thought in disapproval to herself, while Mr and Mrs Jonathan talked about their work.

Oh God! This is sooooo boring I can just sleep on my plate. Even the history book looks more appetising than this!

A few moments of silence later, Christabella finally found the odd courage to speak up, "Err... Zephyr?"

Zephyr looked up. Now, EVERYONE at the table was looking at her.

Oh great, now what???

"Yes?" Zephyr asked.

"Erm..." Christabella started, thinking what she was going to say. Mr and Mrs Jonathan looked on. Zephyr look boringly at her, waiting for her to say something.

Ah ha!

"Here you go! Eat some vege!" Christabella shoved some cabbage into his plate. It sounded really lame the second it left his lips, but she don't care.

"Oh! Thanks! You have some too," Zephyr shoved some weird looking vegetable on to her plate.

Yuck! What's this?

But she managed a smile and a weak 'thanks.'

"Are you okay Bel? You look sick..." Mrs Jonathan asked worriedly.

"Oh nothing. Just feeling a bit drowsy..." Christabella said.

"Oh, you should go get some rest after dinner perhaps?" Mrs Jonathan said.

Then everyone went back to their usual quiet dinner routine.

Zephyr was poking the lump as if it was threatening to jump into his mouth.

Oh well, I guess I'd have to get use to this... sigh...

Christabella went on to finish the weird thing Zephyr shoved into her plate.

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 11 - The Wedding

First time reading this story? CLICK HERE FOR PART 1

Dear Stupid Life,

OH GOSH! It's the Wedding today! No!!! I'm so nervous! I'm going to be finished! I'm going to be someone's wife! My life! Ruined! I can't imagine! Oh no! What's gonna happen tonight? What's he gonna do? Jump on me? Sedate me? Is he even that kinda person? No! I don't think so! Wait! OH my! Must not think about it! Skip skip!!! I'm going crazy! This is so dirty! Noooo!!! I... I've got mixed feelings in my stomach! Sick ones!

Tell me what to do! I'm writing in my wedding gown! Everyone says I look like a princess. Well, I think I look crappy. And that icky flowers on the tiara is making my head really itchy. And the Bouquet is killing my nose! I wish there is no one around so I can just chuck it down the toilet. But then again, it'd be too big to stuff it down the poor toilet...

And the high heels are killing me! Look at it man! Just look at it's murderous height! 9 inches!!??? Whoever thought of this torturous device in the first place??? 9???

Oh! gotta go! Preparing to walk down the Aisle of Doom to the Altar of Darkness and Unknown. To the End of My Freedom. Noo! Hey! I really gotta go! Fill you with details later!

Signed... CHRISTABELLA..

~Wedding music playing~

Christabella is practically on the verge of crying and vomitting now. She's got these feelings in her and she's really confused! She's practically jumping! Her heart is skipping lots of beats now. Oh no! The door's opening! There in front of me appears the way which leads to the end of my carefree days! Now, I've too share my room, my bed, my mirror, my wardrobe, my everything with someone! Sigh...

She walked to the altar, only looking in front of her. She stared blankly at nothing. Not the priest, not Zephyr, not the guests, certainly not the altar! Before she realises, she was already facing Zephyr, who was faking a smile.

"I, Zephyr Jonathan, take you, Christabella Mitchell, for my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us apart," Zephyr said his vows perfectly as if he says it every day.

Zephyr glanced at his parents, then at Christabella's and then looked back at Christabella who was staring blankly at him.

"Psst? Hello? Your turn!" Zephyr whispered.

Christabella woke from her daze and said, "Oh! Erm..." she cleared her throat and went through her mind for the vow.

"Erm... I, Christabella Mitchell, uh... take you, Zephyr Jonathan, for my... uh... my..."

"Lawful," Zephyr whispered.

"Lawful, wife. I mean, husband, to have and to hold, from this day onwards. Forward, for... for..." Christabella's voice trailed as she frantically searched her mind for the memory of the vow.

"Better, for worse," Zephyr whispered, surprisingly patient.

"For better, for worse. For prettier...um... I'm sorry, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us apart," Christabella finished her vow. Feeling much relieved.

Despite her mistakes, everyone clapped and someone in the back whistled and cheered.

Oh, the flower-throwing thingy. Absent-mindedly, Christabella threw the flowers over he shoulder. Her strong, trained arms threw the bouquet too high and it went really far and ended up in the pond with a splash. Opps! Sigh... never mind. Let it be, sorry people!

SPLISH! SPLASH! SPLOSH! SPLASH!

All the single women ran into the pnd to retrieve the bouquet. Oh my God! They are desperate! And here I am, not wanting to get married!

... oh dear Stupid Life... you should be there! All the women were wet from head to toe! Well, a woman in her late-twenties got the bouquet anyway. I don't even know who she is! All the other women sulked throughout the buffet! It was just hilarious! After meal, which ended around eleven, I was a bit drunk. Just a bit. Zephyr was REALLY drunk! You should've seen his face.

I brought him, no wait! I CARRIED him to our bedroom... he was really heavy! Well, 'it' didn't happen that night. I mean, we didn't do 'it'. But, let's just say, about erm... a bit happened. Well, he pulled me to the bed. Then he slept off.

I took a shower and changed into my night attire. Then when I came out, he was half naked waist up, mind you. He was sleeping already. As you can see, he was breathing softly and deeply. He's quite charming when he sleeps. Good thing he doesn't snore. I can't imagine living with a snoring guy for the rest of my life!

I slipped under the duvet quietly and I was going to sleep and suddenly, he put his left arm on top of me and pulled me close to his chest. He whispered, "Christabella.. I love you... I just don't know how to..." I turned to look at him. His eyes was shut, alright. I think he was talking in his dreams. Suddenly, his eyes opened. He said, "I really do..."

Next thing I know, we were kissing. Not the passionate kind. Just the light one. We kissed for a few minutes and then we stopped. For the night, we just cuddled. His strong and warm arms embraced me. I feel so secure. Like nothing else in the world matters anymore.

Suddenly, I'm not scared of marriage anymore. This feeling I'm feeling is great. I don't wanna stop feeling like this ever! This idea of being safe in this warm and inviting embrace for the rest of my life is so... undescribable.

This morning, when I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was him smiling at me. I smiled back. We kissed again (sounds disgusting? It won't when YOU are married. Trust me!), and cleaned ourselves before going down fro breakfast. Ahhh... it feels like nothing can spoil the weekend... To know the hottest, coolest, most wanted guy in school belongs to me. Loves me. It can never get better.

Anyway, our parents were discussing about a new house for us... I can't imagine living in a house on our own. Weird...

I gotta go! Gonna play basketball with Zephyr!

Signed... CHRISTABELLA...

Christabella was really happy. Who wouldn't be?

"Christabella! Are you okay? Why were you absent? Gawd! I heard you fainted! What happened?" Chrysantha asked anxiously at the other end of the phone.

"Which question do you want me to answer first? I'm fine!" Christabella said laughingly.

"What happened?" Chrysantha asked.

"Oh, just got too cold I guess. You know, the morning winds can kill..." Christabella joked.

"Yea! So what happened between you and him? Everything's fine?" she asked.

"Yea, sure! He was anxious when I fainted. I'm not sure if he was faking it or whatever! I mean, there's like so many people around... maybe..." Christabella said with a hint of uncertainty. But deep in her heart she knows it's...

"He's not faking it," Chrysantha said as a matter-of-factly. Suddenly, she giggled.

"Fine! What's going on in there, Chrys?" Christabella asked suspiciously.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just something nice for you..." Chrysantha said, giggling uncontrollably now. Then the line was cut.

"Chrys? Chrys?" Christabella asked. "Fine! Be that way!" Christabella said to the phone. "She hung up!" she said with a shrug. Then frowned, what's Chrysantha up to?

--------------------------------------------------
"Hey Celina! So what's up yesterday, last night? You suddenly went off just like that!" Christabella asked curiosly.

"Gotta go! Catch up with you later! Meet me in the cafeteria at lunch! Usual table!" Chrysantha said hurriedly.

Before Christabella can open her mouth to say something, Christabella was around the corner of the end of the corridor already.

Great! Now my best friend is ditching me! Oh no! Not Catherine! Nooooo!!!

"Hey! So I heard you fainted yesterday... are you okay?" Catherine asked in a fake, sickly sweet smile.

"You talking to me?" Christabella asked carefully. Something is fishy!

"Yeah... of course! Who else fainted?" Catherine said sarcastically.

"Oh... I'm fine..." Christabella said. Stop being sarcastic and get the hell outta my way, you this sickening bi*ch!

"Great! See you 'round!" Catherine waved and went away.

Phew! That was fine! But... really... what's going on?

For the whole day, everyone asked if Christabella was okay. It feels good to be noticed, yet so awkward to be popular. And being asked the question over and over again... it's just so weird. She might as well just announce it over that PA system that she's fine.

---------------------------------------------
"Christabella! Youwon'tbelievethis! Hesayshelovesyou! HedidNOTpretendtobeworriedtheotherday! HeLOVESyoualot! Wohoo!" Chrysantha said excitedly over the phone.

"Huh? What are you babbling about? Can you like, separate your words? I don't get it!" Christabella said, confused.

"He-loves-you!" Chrysantha said, giggling.

"Who?"

"Him!"

"Him, who?"

"Zephyr! Duh!" Chrysantha said in a bored way.

"Oh! How'd YOU know!?" Christabella asked curiously.

"I asked him, of course!" Chysantha said proudly. "Actually, I threatened that if he didn't tell the truth, he'd lose his head."

"Oh, how'd you ask him?"

"I called him!" Chrysantha said.

"How'd YOU get his number?" Christabella asked.

"It was on the invitation card. DUH!" Chrysantha said.

"Oh! Yeah! The card! Ha-ha. Card... I totally forgot!" Christabella said.

"Oh! Haha! All the girls in the school is calling him! It took me 17 times to get through!" Chrysantha said hysterically. "Just in case, you don't know..."

"Ahem! Except me! I'm not calling him," Christabella reminded.

"Well... yea..." Chrysantha agreed. There was a silence before Chrysantha added, "How come?"

"Because I see that annoying face every single day at dinner," Christabella snapped.

"Oh! Really?" Chrysantha teased.

"Duh! I'm dragged out of my bed every morning just to have this stupid 'sweet heart breakfast' with him too. It's lame!" Christabella complained.

"Oh! That's too bad! All the girls would kill to get this chance... except me, of course!" Chrysantha said. Then she added, "And you," after a second thought.

"CHRISTABELLA! COME DOWN! WE'RE GOING TO THE JONATHAN'S FOR DINNER!" Mrs Michell shouted from downstairs.

Christabella rolld her eyes and shouted back, "Coming, mom!".

"See, get what I mean?" Christabella groaned into the phone.

"Ooo... dinner with Zephyr!" Chrysantha said with a giggle.

"Jealous much?" Christabella teased.

"CHRISTABELLA????!!!" Mrs Mitchell called again.

"COMING!" Christabella shouted back.

"Urgh! Bye!" Christabella told Chrysantha and hung up before Chrysantha had a chance to say anything more.

---------------------------------------------

He loves me! He loves me not! He loves me! He loves me not!

Christabella was mumbling to herself during dinner. Zephyr never looked up from his plate. Neither did he speak during dinner. She wondered as she looked at him. Does he really love me? Like what Chrysantha has told me? He's quite... good looking...

She continued to poke her food on her plate.

Dinner with him is such a bore! Why would the girls want to have dinner with him? Nothing ever happens! Sigh.....

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 9 - Silent Treatment

First time reading this story? CLICK HERE FOR PART 1

After that night, like any other couples, they declared the Silent War for the first time in their short period of marriage. Oh wait, they aren't married yet! But they might as well had. Oh well, unfortunately, there's nothing much both their parents can do except try to not provoke either one of them.

Christabella slept over at the Jonathan's over the weekend because she practically got drunk in the post-party's party and Mrs Jonathan insisted that she stayed over. UNDERAGE drunk. At breakfast, everyone was quiet. The silence was deafening. Zephyr acted like he didn't know Christabella was cursing all the way under her breath (which is actually audible to everyone at the table. Everyone just pretended they didn't hear her). His mother, who was constantly glancing at both of them and his father who was glaring at him in a way that says you-say-something!

In the end, Mrs Jonathan broke the silence, "What a beautiful day to walk to school huh?"

Zephyr rolled his eyes. Christabella shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Mr Jonathan cleared his throat and went back to his newspaper.

After breakfast, Mrs Jonathan insisted that they walk to school themselves giving the excuse that she's busy with the wedding preparation. Unwillingly, they walked out together (but it was obvious that they were keeping the distance of at least 100 m between them... nah! Just exaggerating).

-----------------------------------------------

The cold morning wind made Christabella regret wearing such thin outfit. She shivered and she turned pale. Zephyr noticed her shivering in her thin clothes but didn't attempt to keep her warm. He'd be a total loser to break the War they've declared two days ago. Might as well just keep it going than to surrender.

Christabella turned blue upon reaching the school's gate she can barely feel her fingers and toes. She was numb all over and that jerk Zephyr was doing nothing at all! When they were heading for the stairs, Christabella felt her legs gave way and she passed out on the floor.

The next thing she knows was someone calling her name. It sounded distant and familiar but her eyes just wouldn't open and her brain can't seems to work at all.

She remembered that voice asking if she was okay and a pair of strong arms shaking her until she feels like she's gonna be sick. She tried her best to move her eyes or fingers to show that she was but the muscles seem to disobey her brain's instructions.

The shake got more violent that she can't help but forced open her heavy eyelids. The sudden burst of sunlight made it hard to focus on anything. There were shadows and blurred image and outlines of humans casted everywhere around her.

She blinked a several times until the images were focused. She found that standing in front of her, was Zephyr.

"Are you okay? You just fell like that? I thought you died! You scared the guts out of me!" Zephyr said, in a really worried tone.

Christabella smiled a bit. Hah! I won! You spoke! You lost! HAHAHA!

"I think I'm fine. You were worried? Really?" Christabella asked, not quite believing what he said. A bit surprised and unsure about what she'd heard.

"Yeah..." Zephyr said, not believing that he had broke the silence himself!

Christabella smiled more and said, "Thanks... for being worried."

Zehpyr suddenly feel something lift of his shoulders. Naturally, he smiled too.

"You called for me?" Christabella asked Chrysantha, panting and wheezing from the running.

"Uh... duh? I don't see any other Christabella here..." she snapped.

"Oh, okay... why'd you call?" she asked, still trying to catch her breath.

"Who's that you were flirting with? He's hot..." Chrysantha asked, giving Daven a once over.

"Oh, that guy over there at the balcony? He's Zephyr's relative... Daven de Chevalier..." Christabella said, making it sound obvious and as-a-matter-of-factly.

"Did you say 'charming'?" Chrysantha teased.

"It's Chevalier..." Christabella frowned.

"Okay, okay... Zephyr was jealous... so obvious! He kept glancing over to the balcony when we were arguing... the more he looked, the more he looks unsettled. You can practically see steam blowing out... like a mad cow! I mean, bull... ah! Whatever! Then he stormed off to somewhere... his room I think..." Chrysantha said.

"You've gotta be kidding! He's jealous? No way that's gonna be true!" Christabella said, unbelieving.

"Oh! Haha! Do I look like I'm joking here? I think you'll better go check on him! I smell something bad. My sixth sense is telling it all..." Chrysantha said, a bit sarcastic at first then concerned.

"Fine..." Christabella sighed. "Wish me luck... Hope I'd come back alive..." she joked.

-------------------------------------------------------
I knocked on Zephyr's bedroom door. Silence.

I knocked again. Silence. I tried again then someone said, "What are you doing?"

I turned around to see Zephyr with his eyebrow cocked.

"Oh, erm. Hi! I thought you were inside... erm... " I said nervously. Why am I nervous?

"Did you even bother to check me out, like a few minutes ago when you were flirting with MY cousin?" Zephyr asked, his voice rising with every word he said.

"Even if I did bothered, will you even look at me?" I said, my voice rising too. This is what I get after I took 15 minutes to find his bedroom??? What a karma!

"Well, I might have!" Zephyr defended.

"Hah! Yeah! Like that's gonna happen!" I scoffed.

"You were flirting with your fiance's cousin shamelessly when you fiance was handling the world's most impossible best friend of yours!" Zephyr shouted at me. I felt like slapping him!

That line had draw the attention of a group of guests passing by along the corridor. Despite the crowd, we continued our arguments without a care in the world. I don't care if they'd gossip after this. I am really mad! And Zephyr's not making it any better!

"I wasn't flirting! We'd just met! My purse fell, he was just gentleman enough to pick it up for me. We were just introducing ourselves!" I shouted back, fending for my own dignity. This is too much!

"Oh! Don't you have hands of your own? Does it has to be such a coincident that you dropped your purse in front of him? Is it because he's too handsome that you lost your grip? You're impossible!" Zephyr said sarcastically, making me wanna sucker-punch him now rather than just giving him a tight slap.

"Are you testing me? Oh no! Wait! I can sense a waft of jealousy from you!" I said, being sarcastic too.

"Stop trying to be funny!" Zephyr said angrily.

"I'm not! You are!" I said, glaring fiercely at him.

Chrysantha has noticed the crowd and was trying to break through the dense crowd. When she finally did, the first and the last thing she saw was me slapping Zephyr right across his face. Oh yeah, it felt SOOOOOOOO good.

Everyone gasped.

"You're the one who is impossible! Not me! I'm your fiancee! Not a cheap girl off the streets you know? I'm only sixteen! Damn! I am only sixteen! I can't stand any of this anymore! Just... just... forget it!" I said, tears streaming down my face uncontrollably. I stormed off.

Oh my God! That was NOT good at all... thought Chrysantha.

-----------------------------------------------
Zephyr on the other hand, was putting his hand to the place where Christabella slapped him. He was left alone in the crowd to face the embarrassment. It was so hard to believe what had just happened a few seconds back.

That slap had woken him up. He felt guilty. Was he that cold-hearted guy that is tormenting Christabella? Was he that hateful and cruel? What had he done? It's a total havoc and an unforgettable memory to a sixteen years old girl's and also his bride-to-be's most important day of her life.

He just stood there, staring at her until she disappeared around the corridor. Until the crowd thinned. Then, slowly and unbelieving, he walked back to his own room.

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 7 - Part 2 - Surprise! Surprise!

"Welcome! Welcome to the engagement party of two lovely teenagers!!! Also, today, is the bride-to-be's sweet sixteen birthday!!! Welcome everyone!" Alice's chirpy voice boomed over the PA system.

"You're having a good time there? The cocktails and punch are on the table on my left. The swimming ppol's outside from the door which is also on my left. The buffet dinner is on my right. At 8 o'clock sharp, please move to the ballroom that's in the next room. The door's on my right. Please help yourself everyone! Thank you and enjoy your dinner! Bon appetite!" Alice continued.

"Oh! There will be a mini tour around the house! At erm... now..." Alice added, frowning at her watch.

"Hmm... maybe, we should get started!" Mrs Jonathan said. Then, she squeezed through the crowd towards Zephyr. "Hey! The tour's starting. You coming?"

"I know my way around MY house..." Zephyr said boredly.

"Okay! Suit yourself! Christabella? You coming?" Alice asked.

"No thanks... Lots to catch up on... "Christabella said pointedly to Chrysantha.

"Right! Got it! Catch you all later!" Alice waved.

"Phew! That was close!" Christabella turned back to both of them. But they started arguing again. She sighed and walked to the balcony. The breeze blew softly against her face. She turned to see a guy, looking at her in a really... amused way...

There was an awkward moment then she turned away.

Her purse dropped. She bent down to pick it up. Another hand reached out for it. She looked up and saw the face of the Balcony Guy. He handed back her purse and said in a thick accent, "Must be yours. You dropped it..." Christabella blushed and said, "Yeah... thanks!" When she was reaching out, their hands touched. They stayed that way, eyes contact, for a few seconds before Christabella pulled away shyly.

"I'm sorry, better get going..." Christabella said, she can feel her cheeks catch fire... like practically. They've touched longer than necessary. Now she felt tingly at the place where their skin came in contact. She was grateful it was dark.

"I'm Daven, Daven de Chevalier... my pleasure to meet you, Mademoiselle... " he said bowing.

He's got a French accent... sexy... hmm... he's gorgeous...

"Pleased to meet you too, Monsieur Chevalier..." Christabella said, doing a little curtsy... she's glad she took French classes. Although she flunked pretty most of the test that semester...

"Devan, please..." he said politely.

Gentleman, Frenchman, gorgeous and charming.

"Mademoiselle?" he asked.

"Huh? Oh! I'm Christabella... Christabella Mitchell..." she introduced herself.

"Oh! Mademoiselle Mesell... " Daven said, pronouncing the "Mitchell" a bit off, but with a very sexy voice.

"Oh! Christabella is good... Anyway, I've never seen you around before... You are here for the reason of?" Christabella asked curiously.

"I'm here because I'm the far relative of the Jonathans... but our ties and bonds are tight... my mother said it wasn't de riguer to live close to someone to be close in relationship with them... right?" he explained.

"Right... not necessary..." Christabella repeated... she's got nothing left to say...

"CHRISTABELLA!" someone shouted for her back in the room... It was Celina.

"I've gotta go! This conversation is secret okay? Hush-hush!" Christabella whispered.

"Okay, just entre nous..." Devan nodded in agreement with a drop-dead-gorgeous wink.

"Yes, just between us..." Christabella said.

I will die from all the charming radiation he's emitting... ahh!

There Christabella was looking in the mirror. She's well... more like staring... She just couldn't believe it's herself looking back at her... She... she has to admit that she was... beautiful! A tiara sat on her hair which was falling in soft curls on her shoulder. An engagement gift from Aunt Marianna ( her favourite aunt). Her long gown that looked like it's never gonna end... an optical illusion.

A necklace lent by Cousin Kimberly. Her favourite bracelet and a pair of new blue earrings. She looks almost perfect now... of course... after 3 hours and 18 minutes of preparing... going on 19 in another 4 seconds... Her shoes! Okay! WHERE ARE HER SHOES!!!??? Oh God! Shoes!

"Hey! So how's the princess of the day doing?" a familiar voice asked. Christabella turned around to find... "Chrysantha!!! When did you come back?" and ran to embrace her.

"Just got off the plane. My backbone hurts from the long flight in that airjunk! My butt's numb! My brain is having a bad jet lag..." Chrysantha complained.

"Sounds really bad..." Christabella said.

"Yeah, and THEY are cute though..." Chrysantha said, taking out a stack of what seems like hundreds of photos from her bag tied with a piece of fancy purple ribbon.

"OH. MY. GOD! These guys are... awesome... Oh my God! They. Are. Gorgeous!" Christabella was almost speechless.

"Yup! It's fact! See it! Love it! Keep it!" Chrysantha said.

"You're giving this to me?" Christabella asked excitedly. Unbelieving.

"Yup! As your engagement present along with your sweet sixteen present..." Chrysantha said and pulling out a box wrapped in metallic blue wrapper like a Santa Claus.

"It's for your birthday. Erm... you can open it now if you want..." Chrysantha said handing it to her.

Christabella opened it to find an iPhone. "Oh! My! God! Chrysantha! This is amazing! But I can't keep it..." Christabella said.

"Oh! Come on... I have one myself! And it's identical! I want you to keep it..." Chrysantha said.

"Thank you Chrysantha! You are the best!" Christabella said happily.

"Hi Zephyr!" Chrysantha greeted.

"Huh?" Christabella turned around.

"Uh... hi..." Zephyr greeted with a frown.

"Hey Coach!" Chrysantha said.

"I'm not your coach now. Don't spoil the day for me...Santha" Zephyr said coldly.

"Don't call me Santa!" Chrysantha fumed.

"Then don't call me coach!" Zephyr said.

" Fine then! Be that way!" Chrysantha said, crossing her arms.

"Oh! Don't worry... I will!" Andrew fired.

Chrysantha was so furious that you can actually see fire burning in her eyes and steam pouring out of her nose and ears and smoke coming out of her mouth. She hates it when she loses a debate. She wondered how Christabella was gonna last with a guy like him. Poor Christabella.

"Erm... guys? It's my birthday... can you both please not fight for a day at least?" Christabella asked nervously.

"All right, seeing that it's my sista's birthday, you're free for now. But I am not done with you! You'd better watch your back!" Chrysantha warned in a strong and weird accent.

"Whatever!" Zephyr rolled his eyes.

"What's wrong with the accent? Went to France and came back with the wrong lips after all the FRENCH-kissing?" Christabella teased.

"Hey, I still have my first kiss alright?" Chrysantha snapped.

"Oh really? That's a bit suspicious..." Christabella said.

"Christabella..."

"Okay fine! I was just teasing!"

" Yeah! That's right! Go on. I'm invisible and deaf..." Zephyr said.

"Oops! I forgot about you, idi... I mean, Zephyr..." Christabella said, almost calling him an "idiot".

"That's okay..." Zephyr said. "So how was the holiday?" Zephyr asked Chrysantha.

"Like you care!" Chrysantha snapped at him.

"Well, I asked didn't I?" Zephyr asked, confused. You will never understand the female species.

"Oh yeah, Zephyr, a-going-to-be-husband of Christabella and also the school hottest guy, cares about my unimportant vacation!" Chrysantha scoffed.

"Well according to those photos, I think you did have fun..." Zephyr concluded.

"Then why did you ask?" Chrysantha asked sarcastically.

"Just checking. To make sure," Zephyr said.

"Now it's my turn to be invisible and deaf," Christabella complained.

"Sorry...: Chrysantha apologised.

Christabella and Andrew walked home quietly. Suddenly, Christabella stopped walking. After walking a few steps only did Zephyr realised that Christabella wasn't beside him. He turned around.

"Why aren't you walking? My mom said she's not driving us home remember?" Zephyr said.

"I... I felt... bad... and stupid" Christabella said, tears forming in her eyes.

Zephyr sighed. He didn't know what to say nor how to respond to that. There was a silence before Zephyr started, "Let's make it a point, you ARE stupid!" silence. Zephyr regretted what he said as soon as the words fell out his lips. He didn't mean it. But what is said is said and can't be swallowed back. Christabella tried to hold back her tears. Zephyr sighed and said, "Just walk, I am melting out here..." he continued walking.

But after a few more steps, he realised Christabella was still not walking with him. He stopped and turn back again, "Are you gonna wal..." his sentence was broken off by the sight he was seeing - Christabella.
Christabella felt her legs gave out beneath her and she buckled over and knelt on the sidewalk. Her whole body felt weak. Every part of her felt like jelly. Not because she was scared. More like she was hurt. Emotionally hurt. How can she live with a guy who doesn't care about her? And she was about to engage to him and might get married and live with him forever?

Where is that secure feeling you feel when you're with the person you love? It felt empty right in her heart now.

It's hard to imagine and it's hard to hold back her tears now. She totally didn't want him to see her break down let alone cry. But then, she felt like... she's... dead right there. She couldn't stand up nor feel anything yet everything was so overwhelming.

Zephyr cleared his throat, "Are you... uh... okay?"

Christabella didn't give any response. There was more silences. Then, Christabella said, "I think so..."

Zephyr said, "Well, you don't look okay to me... what happened? No, wait, what's happening?" he's kind of worried now.

Christabella sniffed and answered, " It's all these thing... engagement? To you? Me to you? I don't like you. Not wait, that was a lie. In fact, I do. But you are the school's star and I am just a what? Nobody? Now, everyone hates me because of this engagement! I never wanted popularity. But now I am having it, in a negative way, I HATE IT!"

Zephyr sighed and knelt down beside her. He looked at her for a few seconds. She looked... pretty actually. In a way, she was. For the first time, Zephyr really looked at her and felt sympathy for her. Birthday ruined. Marriage ruined. Life ruined.

"Look, if you're going to sit here forever, I don't mind. So what if I am popular and you're not? We are all the same. I never cared about that popularity thing. Never. So what if we're both... er... engaged? Life's not over yet! You've got so much to do. Things that you want to do. You've got Chrysantha. I doubt she hates you. " Zephyr convinced her.

"Chrysantha is in Italy... there's no one else to talk to..." Christabella said.

"No one's asking you to fly there to talk to her. Not like she'd be there forever. You've still got me... you can talk to me..." Zephyr offered.

For one moment, Christabella looked doubtfully at him. Then she said, "Thanks."

There was an awkward silence until Zephyr broke the silence, "Err... are you ever gonna stand up? I'm really melting out here..." Zephyr stood up and held his hand out.

Christabella hesitated before taking his hand and he pulled her up. Christabella mumbled a thanks.

Then they walked home in silence. It wasn't long before Christabella realised that Zephyr was still holding her hands. It doesn't matter because she liked it. And somehow she knew Zephyr doesn't hate it. It was a bit awkward, but it felt nice at the same time.

What they didn't know about is what they are both thinking right now. Because it's all about the sweet things about each other..

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 5 - Once Jerk, Always A Jerk

First time reading this story? CLICK HERE FOR PART 1

"You're late for class! You're late for detention! What happened? Christabella? You're one problem. This is Zephyr's first time and your twenty-fourth... no wait, twenty-fifth time in detention! " said Mrs Sasa. I wonder who is so unlucky enough to be her husband. She's just plain annoying... and annoyingly annoying. And, erm... did I mentioned annoying?

"She was picked on. By Catherine," Zephyr explained. Wow! He talks!

"On the way here?" Mrs Sasa asked. She's dumb.

"Yeah... I stopped her anyway..." Zephyr said. Okay, I think he's showing off now.

"Good! How unlucky huh? So many bad things seem to happen on such a special day for both of you... I wonder..." Mrs Sasa said. She sounds like she's provoking me with the red cloth. I am not afraid to admit that sometimes I am the bull either. And bull hates red cloth. That's exactly what she's doing right now. "Now, get to your seats..."

I rolled my eyes. ARGH!

Zephyr and I headed to the back of the class, trying to sit as far as possible from each other.

I swear I saw Mrs Sasa snickered! She opened her mouth to say something, probably to provoke me more, but then close it again. Perhaps she decided against it. Good choice Mrs Sasa.

I looked across the room at Zephyr. He didn't look any happier than I feel. I have a bad feeling that he hates me more for destroying his good reputation. I guess, I have to apologise to him later...

-------------------------------------------------------

After detention, Zephyr was walking back to his class.

"Zephyr! Hey!!! Wait!!!" Christabella shouted after him.

"Now what? You're trying to put me in another detention for going late to class just right after I came out of detention room?" Zephyr asked sarcastically.

Christabella was speechless for a moment before she found her voice and said, "I... I was just... trying to... trying to... say... I..."

"Just leave my life and I alone! Retard!" Zephyr snapped and walked off. He felt guilty right after the words left his lips. He know Christabella was just going to apologise. He felt an urge to turn back to let her complete her apology, but then, he'll look like a loser. If he doesn't, he'd look like a jerk... argh... he's having a dilemma.

But then, he thought, it's better off as a jerk than a loser... So he continued walking without a backward glance. Leaving Christabella on her own with her disappointment in the heart in the empty hallway...

He's a jerk after all, Christabella thought. He is...

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 4 - A Twist in Nightmare

In the car...

"Good morning Mrs Jonathan..." Christabella greeted.

"Happy birthday, Christabella!" Mrs Jonathan chirped. "It's your engagement day, isn't it? Lovely day huh?"

Zephyr rolled his eyes. Christabella blushed... Oh my GOD! Christabella thought. Mrs Jonathan don't get started again...

"Andrew, you better take care of her in the school! Don't let her get bullied and you don't bully her either! Do you understand?" Mrs Jonathan told Zephyr and gave Christabella a wink. Christabella shuddered. She felt really awkward.

"Mmm... what if I get bullied? She'll come save me?" Zephyr mumbled. Christabella blushed more.

The car came to a halt in front of the school.

"Alright! Get out! Go on! Quick!" Mrs Jonathan ushered. "You're both late..."

"All because of Christabella!" Andrew hissed.

Christabella gave him the look that says 'shut up! Or else...' but Andrew just pretended that he didn't see that.

---------------------------------------------------

In school hallway...

"Miss Mitchell and Mr Jonathan! Why aren't both of you in your respective classes? Dating in school's hallway is not a reason to be late! I know you're both getting engaged tonight. But school rules are school rules! Detention during recess and by the way happy birthday Miss Mitchell and happy engagement day to both of you! Now go on!" Mrs Sasatricks' voice boomed yet her face shows no emotion whatsoever.

Uh! Sometimes I wonder why Mrs Sasatricks can't spare me of my already miserable life. AND it has to be on my sweet sixteen birthday! Now, that just sucks! Big time!!! How very nice of her. Pfft! Yeah right, now tell me about staying at home on your sixteenth birthday. I mean, don't they always do that? Skip school for the day, get high with your friends ( I mean in a positive way) and/or sleep the whole day off like nobody's business! Now, that sound like a plan to me! WOhoo! I love my plan! That's just go genius of me! Oh look! I am crapping to my innerself again! So don't mind me! Now shoo shoo!

"Oooii retard!" now that annoying voice snapped me out of daydream. "Don't you wanna start moving before Mrs Sasatricks gives us another detention?" Zephyr hissed. I gave Zephyr a killer look. With our shoulders slumped and our heart threatening to lash out at each other like a cat fight, we walked to our class.

"All your fault! Retard!" Zephyr whispered angrily.

"No it's not!" I whispered back loudly.

"Walk faster!" we both winced at the booming voice. She could be a loudspeaker, she could just get a living from being a street human-loudspeaker advertiser, if you know what I mean. "You're already late and you are still taking your own sweet time?"

We both ran to our class. Oh well, that woman just love to see us kids/teenagers/whatever to run away, scared. That mean old woman witch! Argh!

--------------------------------------------------
"Catch you in the gym, Zebra!" Mike said. Mike is Zephyr's best buddy. Don't ask me why he calls him Zebra, because I have no idea why.

"Can't, caught late for class with retard! Have got myself into detention..." Zephyr replied. Hah! If only I was physically there, he'd have died of strangulation! With my, uh huh *nods*, wrestlers' arms (just a metaphor, I love to daydream) he'd be left with no chance! No chance at all!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *coughs* *coughs*... uh... excuse me... still gotta work on the evil laugh. Anyway...

"Wow! Zebra in detention? That's so... out of mind dude! Gosh! Girls are so troublesome!" Mike sighed. Oh, I can imagine if any girls heard that at all. He'd be dead in no less than a nano-second! Well, just for your information guys out there, just be careful when you try to put 'troublesome' and 'girls' in the same sentence. Just hope there aren't any girls in earshot or else...

Suddenly, there was a loud metal drumming sound at the other end of the hallway.

"OUCH!" I said. Owh that's me... now lemme continue with the story.

"I heard you're going to be engaged tonight. To Zephyr? How can that happen? He's mine!!! MINE!!!" she screamed. "How can he likes you? He doesn't like you! What does his parents see in you? You're a psycho!" she cries in a really dramatically bimbo way. "Psycho!" her parrots parroted. Embarrassing really. She looked like she desperately need a facial emotion make over. With her nose scrunched up, lips down at both ends and trembling and bloodshot eyes that look like they might spill tears any second now, come to think of that! She's not THAT pretty...

She's Catherine, the Bimbo. The Queen Bee. The Drama Queen. Whatever you want to call her, I prefer the Bimbo, thank you.

"You're not pretty, rich nor clever! You're stupid! All you do is play that thing where you throw some dumb balls into baskets! You're useless! Idiot!" she cried, her hand making a beeline for my hair. Students were already crowding around us and someone shouted, "Ooo! Look! Cat fight!" and everyone came rushing over like some hungry elephants, to take a look at me getting bashed up like a pulp. I'm not gonna survive this. I closed my eyes hard.

That's the thing with high school... no one ever comes to save you from getting bashed. No one goes running to the teachers and go "Teacher teacher teacher! Catherine is bashing Christabella up!" Nope, they just crowd around and witness the wrestle.

"Uh... that's called basketball... just in case you don't know... hehe," I said, giving a nervous laugh. Then angrily, she pulled my hair so hard it felt like as if she's trying to pull every each strand of my hair out and my head when with it and hit it hard against the locker.

"Owww! Let go!" I howled. I felt a bit dizzy by now. So much of drama. And pain. I think I'm gonna black out anytime now.

"Let her go," I heard a cold voice said. Zephyr.

"Zephyr?" Catherine said, letting go of my hair. "I didn't mean to hurt her, I just want to let her know that she's not good enough for you..." she said with an innocent, puppy dog eyes. Eww *goosebumps rising*...

"You're no better," Zephyr said coldly.

"What?! I know she made you do that engagement thing! You don't want it! I know you don't want it! You don't have to force yourself! You can cancel it!" Catherine said, on the verge of crying.

"It's an arranged engagement, I can't do anything... and I can live with her..." Zephyr said, still with his emotionless face. It's like his face muscle never moves. The crowds when 'ooo'...

The Bimbo's tears spilled, "You don't know what you are saying!" she screamed, oh! Ever so dramatically! She shook her head and cried uncontrollably. I hope her neck can take the shaking. It looks like it's gonna break. But then again, her head must be light because of the lack of brains.

"I. Love. Her." Zephyr said. Still no emotion. Everyone was like, GASP!!! I was shocked of course! I mean him saying that in front of everyone? That's so not him... and he is turning to me! Turning and he... gave me a frown and rolls his eyes... *frowns with disappointment* oh well, reality check, it's still him.

"Urgh!" Catherine grunted like some kind of hungry beast and turned on her heels and walked off with her parrots following her.

I was still surprised though. I was just sitting there like a lifeless dummy (what am I saying? Dummies ARE lifeless!) not knowing what to do next... Zephyr turned back to me and the crowds cheered.

"You fine?" he asked.

I can't find the words to say. I mean, no wait, I KNOW what to say. I just forgot how to talk for a second... I FORGOT how to talk... I think I hit my head too hard just now.

"Yeah..." I managed to say at last.

"Let me help you..." he held out his hand. Oh my God! I must be dreaming! That's not him!!! I took it and he pulled me up with a really effortless tug.

"Let's go... we're late for detention! Because of you! Again!" Zephyr said. The crowd was thinning.

I don't care. Was it true? What he said? He was still holding my hand and running to the class. I'm never gonna wash my left hand ever again! Ah, just kidding...

WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 3 - Nightmare

First time reading this story? CLICK HERE FOR PART 1

'Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!' the digital alarm clock went off.

Christabella grunted and hit the snooze button and went back to sleep.

Fifteen minutes later...
'Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!' the digital alarm clock went off again.

"Urgh! Shut up!" Christabella groaned. "Hmm..." she sat up on her bed, half asleep. Ahh... her bed is so warm, inviting, tempting her back to Slumberland. Christabella glanced at the digital clock and gasped. "Oh no! I'm not late! Please tell me I'm not late. Wait! I AM late! Oh no! It's EIGHT FIFTEEN!!! I missed the bus! Oh gosh!" she scrambled out of bed and tripped on her blanket and went, "OMIGOD!" and went flat-faced on the floor.

"Great! I woke up literally on the wrong side of bed and I'm late! What a gr-eat way to start a superb day! All thanks to the cursed engagement! Argh!" she mumbled to herself while making her bed.

"Wait! I should be happy. I am getting engaged to Zephyr! Hello!? Zephyr? Oh yes, I should be happy..." she said dreamily to herself. Then suddenly, she snapped out of it, "Oh no! I am late and sixteen and going-to-be engaged. SHOULD. NOT. BE. HAPPY. SHOULD. NOT. BE. HAPPY."

-----------------------------------------------------

"Rrrrinnng!!!" the school bell that indicates the first period of a school day.

"Oh no! That didn't sound good. No, I surely don't like the sound of that when I am late! Where is everyone? Oh yeah! In the class of course! Gosh! Please let this be a NIGHTMARE! Please!" I thought to myself as I run towards the school's gate down the corridor.

"Miss Mitchell! Why aren't you in your class?" a familiar voice asked filled with sarcasm. "Was your alarm 'dead' or did it vibrated too much it 'commited suicide' from your table again?" that voice asks.

I honestly, do NOT like that voice. That voice tortures me even in my sleep, in my dream, even when I am in the toilet. Gosh! I tried to put on a sweet smile and turned to face the owner of the voice slowly. "Good morning, Miss Sasatrick," HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Her parents must be playing a prank or was joking with her when she was born. Whoever calls their daughter Sasatrick??? Like what???

"Er actually, Miss Sasatrick... it died last week and I was still mourning it for a long time last night. I forgot to buy a new one and nobody woke me up today..." I reasoned.

"Oh Miss Mitchell, so when do you plan to buy a new one?" Miss Sasatrick asked sarcastically.

"I erm, need to try to put that in my really tight schedule," I said, she's trying to be sarcastic with me? She's trying to be foolish with me? Hah! I can do better and I am THAT childish! Don't blame me. It's no wonder she's still single and available. She's just S.A.D. case...sigh...(S.A.D. stands for single and desperate) Serves her right for her sarcasm. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Okay, I sounded evil...

"So, how tight is your schedule?" she asked sarcastically, again.

"Err... very? Look Miss Sasatrick, I am sorry I am late okay? I need to get to my class..." I said, trying to get away.

"Don't even bother Miss Mitchell..." Miss Sasatrick said with an evil voice.

"Wh-why?" I asked, now I am a bit cowering...

"Because... " she said with a menacing look, "You are in for detention..." she said with an evil look (gosh, it's so dramatic ain't it?) then comes the worst part of all..." FOREVA!!!" and it echoes. And echoes. And echoes. Scary really. Like in movies.

And I go, " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

--------------------------------------------------------
"Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!" I screamed in my sleep.

"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!" the digital alarm clock went off. I sat up in my bed. Wide awake.

"Oh God! Thank God! It's just a horrible stupid nightmare!" I said gratefully.

"Oh no! I'm not late! Please tell me I'm not late. Wait! I AM late! Oh no! It's EIGHT FIFTEEN!!! I missed the bus! Oh gosh!" I practically screamed and fell flat-faced on the floor.

"OMIGOD! This looks and sounds awfully FAMILIAR... Oh gawd... tell me this is not another nightmare... no wait, PLEASE LET THIS BE A NIGHTMARE! Somebody's gotta pinch me!" I mumbled desperately. Then I felt someone gave me a hard pinch on my arm.

"OOUCH!!! WHO DID THAT!!??" I screamed, rubbing my arm.

"Obviously not a retard who talks to herself. It's almost late and you're not even ready for school yet!" Zephyr said coldly, as usual, with his cool composure.

"Why are YOU here? No wait, how did you even GET in here???" I asked, surprised. I mean, I lock my door every night and I am so sure I did so yesterday because I told my father to fix the lock because it was spoilt. And it was fixed! I am so sure of it because I tried it last night and got locked out. And I got the keys from my mother to open it and only my parents have the keys... unless...

"That's a rude morning greeting..." he said. Hah! Like as if his pinching and calling me a retard is any better! He continued, "You have to say 'Good morning Zephyr dear.'. Now that would be better," he said. My goodness, I hope he's teasing or joking because that is totally awkward and disgusting. And it sucks! Big time!

" That didn't answer my question..." I said.

"I got the keys from your mother. I am supposed to drive you to school today. My mom asked me to. Annoying isn't it? Now can you get changed before we are really late? I've never been this late before. No, let me rephrase. I have NEVER been late before. I bet you are late everyday. Or never mind, take your sweet time. Because, we ARE late already," he said.

"Do you think I want to be late? Do you think I like to be late? You think it's nice to BE LATE? Go reset my biological clock you freak! It's the biological clock's fault!" I said angrily, he is suck a jerk.

"It's YOUR biological clock, blame yourself for that! And can you start moving!? WE ARE LATE!" he said with flame in his eyes. But well, I don't care. I hope he gets high blood pressure and heart attack and just die. Because I'd love to see him dead there and then. " YOU are ruining my life!" he said angrily.

"What? Wait! I am RUINING your life??? How selfish more can you be? They set us up and now YOU are blaming me? Hello? You are the guy in this situation, YOU should do something to it which you are not. AND I AM TRYING MY BEST TO DO SOMETHING!" I argued. I am so frustrated. And late. And in a bad mood. And he is not making it any better. Breathe... breathe..."I need to breathe, I can't breathe fresh air with you around, now get out!"

"Yea, you should get some oxygen. Or you'd seriously become a retard," Zephyr said.

I stared at him in a threatening way that says, 'You better get out before I punch you, slap you and rip you apart!'

He gave me a nervous look and said with his sickeningly sweet smile, "I was joking..." I continued with The Stare.

"Okay, okay! Fine! I am outta here!" he said.

"Well, you better be. Or I can't get ready for school and we might as well not go to school today at all!" I said.

"I think I changed my mind. I think I wanna stay here..." Zephyr said. He better be joking...

"Get out!" I shouted. "Now!"

"Okay! Okay! Geez!" Zephyr said, backing out the room. He closed the door. Sigh... how am I ever gonna live with that guy! He's so annoying. And is getting engaged at 16 even legal? How come I have a bad feeling (or good) that it isn't? Well, that's because it's not! Hah! Oh! No! I am talking to myself again. Sigh...
