WEINI - I Love Him Not - Chapter 1, Part 3 : I'll Never Like Him Anyway

First time reading this story? CLICK HERE FOR PART 1

You know, sometimes, parents think they know what you want. I don't know why, maybe because they think they made you and you are a part of them and all and you SHOULD think alike and stuff... OKAY! STOP!!!

This is one of the things I really truly disagree with. I don't know why they came up with that idea in the first place! I mean, hello? It's like the 21st century!!!??? Who still does that? Maybe in the traditional tribes and sometimes, you know, for family business and stuff. But for the fun of it because it's adorable to do it? That sounded really wrong...

.........................................................................................................

"Well, I think we should set the date on her sixteenth birthday..." Mrs Jonathan suggested hopefully. Now, that was Zephyr's mother, Alice Jonathan.

"But Alice! Her birthday is due in 3 weeks! Will there be enough time to prepare?" Mrs Mitchell asked doubtfully. Now that, was Christabella's mother, Tanya-Lee Mitchell. (don't ask me what's with the Lee, it sounds like Chinese I know. But I'm really sure, my mother is 100% pure un-Chinese)

"Sure! If we start now, of course! Everything will go according to plan AFTER we succeed in confronting them about it. Now that's the hardest part..." Alice sighed. She thought about everything and her husband's business. It was initially not that, it was just a hope actually, but then... Time changes things. Now that there's an global economy crisis. The only way to solve it is to get this done.

"Hello, mom. Hello, Mrs Mitchell," Zephyr greeted oblivious to what the women were talking about. Probably some gossips. He's never interested. It's either some friend's daughter gave birth or some neighbour's secret love affair. You know, the common stuff.

"Hello, sweetheart! You're home!" Alivce said with a warm smile. Zephyr gave a warning look and frowned, "Mom!!!" he hissed.

"Hi, Zephyr," Tanya-Lee greeted, with her always-brilliant smile.

"Uhh... I think, I'll go shower first..." Zephyr said, excusing himself as quickly as possible, he so don't wanna get caught in the midst of womanly chats. Moreover, he's not in a mood to entertain Tanya-Lee now. And he was sweaty and sticky. He stank.

"Sure, hon... but please be fast. There's something important that we've got to tell you..." Alice chirped happily.

Zephyr's forehead creased into a frown. What can they talk about to me? Is their definition of important really important? Man, it doesn't sounds right... So, he double-checked," Okay... is it REALLY important?"

"Yes it is!" Tanya-Lee said enthusiastically. A bit... too enthusiastic. A bit... too quickly. That made everything seems so suspiscious. So... weird...
